April Snow Continues Unabated - So Let’s Go Fishing
I don’t know what is going on with the weather but we continue to see more and more snow. I know this is Montana, but spring snow showers for days on end just makes no sense and it is freezing the new buds on the trees and stilting or stunting the growth of our flowers and shrubs.
A friend of mine went fishing yesterday and e-mailed a couple of photos. Here’s a great shot of the Montana Outdoorsman enduring the elements in order to catch five fish:

I took a few photos this morning of the area around the house. I particularly like the elk weather vane shot up on the roof.

While I realize this is nothing compared to the foot-deep snowfalls up in the Flathead Lake and Glacier Park areas but it still shows a huge difference between Montana and Phoenix, Arizona, or Tampa, Florida. Today’s temperature may or may not reach above freezing. I do know that all of my outdoor projects are on hold until “spring” arrives.
