STABBED! With a Pencil!

STABBED WITH A PENCIL!

I was eight years old and wrestling around with my kid sister, who was five.  As usual, I took advantage of being older and bigger and eventually got too rough with her. As far as she was concerned, I was ALWAYS too mean…”just a big bully meany.”

She had a pencil in her hand–I think she was just learning to draw her alphabet letters–and she STABBED me with it!

Not something I wanted to show Mom, because she stabbed me in the left butt cheekAnd the pencil lead broke off.  I could see the little black circle…about the size of….a pencil lead, of course, deep in there.  I couldn’t squeeze it out.

It hurt really bad.  I cried.  I told Mom anyway, without “showing” her the spot.

That darned piece of pencil lead stayed right there in my left butt cheek for years and years.  It always reminded me of my sister’s fury, and, in fact, I did quit bullying her.

Next time, she might poke my eye out.  (I think that came from our Mom.)
