100 POSTS AS OF TODAY
May 19, 2008, marked my first post in Retired and Restless. That month I entertained 63 visitors, while writing thirteen (really good) posts. Traffic has increased each month since, and August recorded 3,358 unique visits. I am pleased with the traffic and also satisfied that the quality of the new content here continues to be pretty darn good.
I have appreciate the Visitors who have taken the time to Comment. My ode to our Pet, Pouie , drew the most comments and also the most heartfelt sentiment. My eyes still water up when I recall writing that piece. It was difficult, and I believe that those who chose to comment could perceive that. I think it is so amazing that totally anonymous readers, some not even living on the same continent, can share in our lives and emotions through this medium.
My photos (ABOVE) are not of twins, but merely reflect changes in my appearance since beginning this blog over three months ago. At least the nose hasn’t changed, although that is the one thing I would probably wish to change if I could afford it. Nah. That’s ego and I’m too old for that now. After all, I AM Retired.
I don’t know what the future for this site will be, but my Retirement will proceed along and I, perhaps, will not remain so Restless.
