Chocolate Covered Bacon
OMG! Chocolate-covered BACON? Only chocolate ink could be appropriate for this Post.
I can think of a single category to classify this: Fitness Nutrition and Health.
When it comes to the innovations of creative chefs, I’ve heard of some very strange combinations of flavors, but here is one that is “almost” too hard to believe: Chocolate-covered BACON! It probably helps me understand when I see that it is sold on the beach in Santa Cruz, California; but still…chocolate and bacon?
Here is a photo by the Associated Press that shows a tray of the stuff for sale. I couldn’t help but notice that, at $4.50 per quarter pound, a full pound of this would cost…$18.00!
The Associated Press story says the “chefs” thought up the idea during a ski trip. That actually sounds reasonably “on the mark.” I’ve been on some ski trips myself.
How do the sellers justify this strange concoction? Well, they say, “Who doesn’t love bacon? Who doesn’t love chocolate?”
WHAT? YOUR BODY! YOUR BLOOD! Ever heard of CHOLESTEROL?
Ah well. They don’t exactly force it upon anybody. Deep Fry it AGAIN! UMMMM.

I think I would probably give it a try just for the taste sensation. Don’t know if I could handle much of it though. I have tried lots of interesting combos before.

Choc covered bacon? Hmm, don’t seem very nice to me! But I guess you’ll never know unless you try!

i love chocolate but i don’t know if i could take the bacon with it.
